  • Kevern S.

KEVERN SPANN, LAPC, MS, NCC (In Person & Telehealth)

Specializes In: Marital, Premarital, and Family Distress, Co-parenting Counseling, Coping Skills, Anxiety, Depression, Individuals, Couples, and Families; Adults and Adolescents.

I became a counselor to help couples, families, and individuals have happier and healthier relationships by improving communication. Many of us recall instances where what and how we said something caused problems in a relationship with someone we care about. However, we often fail to consider the underlying thoughts, emotional needs, and past experiences contributing to the challenges and breakdowns in our relationships. Your courage in seeking guidance from a counselor has the potential to enhance your communication skills, mend relationships, and elevate your sense of well-being.

A poster on my wall states, "Talking Helps, Listening Heals," encapsulating the essence of my approach to counseling. Whether working with you as an individual, a couple, or a family, my goal will be to create a secure and inclusive environment wherein you can be empowered on a journey to self-discovery, personal growth, and healthier relationships.

If you are ready to talk, I will be here, ready to listen without judgment. If you are unsure what to say, I can introduce you to tools and skills that help you put words to your thoughts and feelings and give you the voice you have been looking for.
