Lori is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's degree from Marywood University. She is a member of several organizations including the National Association of Social Workers. She has a Christian background and works with clients of any age and most any presenting issue.
I am a licensed professional counselor who has been working in the mental health field for many years. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I also spent 14 years working in the child welfare system. I specialize in working with sexual offenders and serve on the Sexual Offender Assessment Board. I am a member of various professional organizations such as ATSA (the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers). My Master’s Degree is from The University of Scranton. I work with clients from ages 2 to 90 who have had a variety of mental health issues including: trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders and victim/perpetration issues. I am especially passionate regarding working with survivors of child abuse and clients who are struggling with Obsessive Compulsive and Eating Disorder issues. I have trauma certifications focusing on sexual abuse, PTSD, emotional abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, anger, and neglect. I have advocated for children and families for over two decades. I believe that with my education, experience, and background I am able to assist people in living healthy and fulfilling lives. In addition to individual counseling I provide group therapy, family therapy, custody issues (Reunification & Bonding and Attachment assessments) and couples counseling.
I am a licensed social worker who received my Masters degree from Marywood University. I have worked in the behavior health field with children, families, and adults for several years. I treat people who have a range of diagnoses from autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression to PTSD. I work with all age groups, with the goal of helping clients to be healthier, more content beings.
I received my master's degree from Liberty University in Professional Counseling. My specialty is drug and alcohol treatment where I am certified through the Pennsylvania Certification Board. I have been in the drug and alcohol field since 2011 and have a background with medicated assisted treatments such as methadone, suboxene, vivitrol, etc. Along with this field comes a host of mental health diagnosis that I have worked with as well including depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I believe in treating everyone with respect in a judge-free zone. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, using various techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, solutions focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and psycho-education. In order to assist you, at times I will provide you with specific tools you can use in order to help you achieve your goals.
