Carol Haupt, MS, LPC

Carol is a licensed professional therapist with 15 years experience working in the mental health field. Her Master’s Degree is from the University of Scranton and she is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Throughout her work in the mental health field she has developed the ability to interact with various community organizations and the legal system. She specializes in working with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence and sexual assault. She is a member of various professional organizations like ATSA (the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers) and ACA (the American Counseling Association). She has worked with clients from ages 4 to 90 who have had a variety of issues. In addition to individual counseling, she provides group therapy, family therapy, mental health evaluations, and couples counseling.

Bill Burkit, MA, ATR-BC,LPC

Bill is a licensed professional counselor and a board certified registered art therapist who has been working in the mental health field for 18 years. His Master’s Degree is from Marywood University. He is a member of various professional organizations such as ATSA (the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers), and AATA (American Art Therapy Association).  Bill works with clients from ages 2 to 102 who have had a variety of mental health issues including: trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and victim/perpetration issues. Bill specializes in trauma, and how it effects families.  His experience is across the whole continuum of care.  Bill’s goal and passion is to combine the creativity of an artist with the skills of a counselor to help individuals clearly understand and lead healthier, happier lives. Through Bill’s education, experience, and background, he is able to assist people in complimenting their skill set, so when challenges arise they can meet them head on.

Lori Feneck, LCSW

Lori is a licensed social worker who has been working in the mental health field since 1995.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg and her Master’s Degree from Marywood University. Lori is a member of various professional organizations such as ATSA (the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers), NASW (the National Association of Social Workers), and the SOAB (Sexual Offenders Assessment Board). She works with clients from ages 2 to 102 who have had a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and sexually offensive problems.  She provides a faith and  biblically-based format for those in search of such support, in order to help clients explore what they feel is their sense of meaning and purpose.  Our religious faith, values, beliefs, principles, and morals can define our spirituality. Her goal and passion is to help clients lead healthier, happier lives. Through her education, experience, and Christian background, Lori is able to help people add to their toolbox of coping skills so that they have the ammunition needed when problems arise.

Roberta Fratzola, MS, LPC

I am a licensed professional counselor who has been working in the mental health field for many years. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).  I also spent 14 years working in the child welfare system.  I specialize in working with sexual offenders and  serve on the Sexual Offender Assessment Board.  I am a member of various professional organizations such as ATSA (the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers).  My Master’s Degree is from The University of Scranton.  I work with clients from ages 2 to 90 who have had a variety of mental health issues including: trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders and victim/perpetration issues.  I am especially passionate regarding working with survivors of child abuse and clients who are struggling with Obsessive Compulsive and Eating Disorder issues.  I have trauma certifications focusing on sexual abuse, PTSD, emotional abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, anger, and neglect.  I have advocated for children and families for over two decades. I believe that with my education, experience, and background I am able to assist people in living healthy and fulfilling lives.  In addition to individual counseling I provide group therapy, family therapy, custody issues (Reunification & Bonding and Attachment assessments) and couples counseling.

Donna Watson, LPC

I received my bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior from Albright College and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Waldon University.  I have been a therapist since 2010 and have worked with a wide range of diagnoses and ages.  I have worked extensively with the chronically mentally ill and PTSD/trauma, along with domestic violence and sexual assault clients.  I work with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, substance abuse, anger, behavioral and marital problems, and several other DSM diagnoses.  I am certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and the American Counseling Association (ACA).  I am Duluth-trained to see clients with domestic violence/batterers problems.  I am working toward my certification for gambling addiction.

Karen Holcomb, LSW

Karen is a Licensed Social Worker with years of experience counseling individuals  of all ages and families . She has a specialty in treating clients with co-occurring disorders.  She has completed 3 EMDR modules and is preparing for her CAADC license.  She uses a strengths based/eclectic approach in her therapy sessions.  She received her Master's in Social Work from Temple University. Her Bachelor's degree was received from Bloomfield College.  She has been active with several professional and volunteer organizations including: United Way of Wyoming Valley/ Grandparents raising Grandchildren/ National Alliance of Mental Illness/ Pre-K for PA/ court-appointed Special Advocate of Luzerne County Junior League of Wilkes-Barre/ Ethics Institute of NEPA @ Misericordia board member/ Domestic Violence Service Center/ National Association of Social Workers/ Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers/ Big Brother Big Sister of NEPA/ Alliance of Social Workers/ International Torch Club/ United States Tennis Association.

Sara Zegalia, ATR-BC, LPC

Sara is a licensed professional counselor with 10 years experience in the counseling field. Sara is also  a board certified art therapist. Sara earned her masters degree from Marywood University.  She is a member of AATA (American Art Therapy Association). She has completed several intensive trainings on treatment of sexual offenders and also the treatment of sexual trauma through MASOC organization.  She has experience in the assessment and treatment of sexual offenders and victims of trauma.  She has a special interest in working with clients with developmental delay and/or intellectual disability.  Sara has worked with clients from 3 years of age to 60. She utilizes a multisensory approach in treatment and a variety of modalities to meet clients’ needs.  She is experienced in the treatment of PTSD , anxiety , depression, anger management , domestic violence issues, sexual offending, relapse prevention , reunification, self esteem, improving relationships, and  healthy sexuality.   She has experience in collaborating with the child welfare, probation, district attorney,  and many other advocacy agencies.
